How to make a wine rack

Some bottles of wine deserve a special presentation in your home. The bottle you brought back from your holiday or the one you were given by a good friend, say. With this step-by-step you can easily make an attractive rack to show off your wine and brighten up your living room or kitchen.

Step 1: Saw one 1000 mm piece and five 200 mm pieces with the circular saw.
Step 2: Measure where the nails should be on the shelves. Mark off 15 mm from the side and 6.5 mm from the top and bottom. Drill the holes making sure the wood does not split.
Step 3: Measure 30 mm from the corners of the back piece and drill four holes with drill bit 3.
Step 4: Gently sand the whole piece.
Step 5: Stain or paint the panels.
Step 6: Hit the nails in the holes you have drilled.
Step 7: Measure and mark off where the screws will be at three points. One in the middle, the other two 30 mm from the sides. Insert the screws in the back panel and mount the shelves.
Step 8: Place the wine rack against the wall and mark the holes in the corners of the panel on the wall with a pencil. Take care to ensure they are level.
Step 9: Drill the two holes with drill bit 8 and hammer the plugs into the wall.
Step 10: Insert the screws a way into the back panel, place it against the wall and tighten the screws to secure.
Step 11: Place your finest bottles in the wine rack and enjoy your work.
